The Dangers of the Usage of the Internet

So, the following three texts (actually they are essays) are about what I have written at school. It might not be that good are even interesting, BUT the blog is mine, and as I said at the first post, I want to ‘register’ my past ‘ideas’. So here it goes.

In the twenty-first century, the usage of internet has increased exponentially. This has been due to the conveniences it has given us, helping people of different parts of the world to be connected, and offering internet bankline and services without having to leave home, to mention a few.

The main causes of internet issues are due to the social networks. This kind of website makes you feel comfortable to express your ideas, to type about things you do, and sometimes to talk about private subjects. The content you’ve posted can be seen by everyone, even if the website is secured and locked; you can’t be assured that some people won’t see what you said.

As a consequence of that, you can ruin your career by being fired due to inappropriate content found by your boss or break up with your partner because of some misunderstood posts. Indeed, the dangerous effect of posting private information is being stalked. The stalker is just waiting for the moment their victims post about their future appointments to catch them.

The consequences above are related to your acts, the probable reason for that was just your fault. However, the following one is not.

Even the most careful web users are not safe from the dangers of the internet – the hackers. They somehow can invade your computer, see all your files, and make a bad use of them. These pirates of the modern world look for data that they can use to their advantage, mainly bank information.

Concerning all these thoughts, the internet is still necessary, so two important steps should be taken. First, children must learn at school how to use the internet in a safe way in order to avoid some of those problems. Second, the government should create/improve their law systems to inhibit the invasions of privacy (Warning: the rules of the social world are the same as the virtual one). As a result of these measures, would become a better and safer place.
